Dr. Vanessa Hayes from the Garvan Institute in Sydney, Australia, traveled across the globe to attend our ASHG workshop in Orlando, and update us on her work on prostate cancer and cancer cell lines. She told us how she’s using Bionano mapping to find rearrangements NGS can’t pick up, and how our long molecule data bring insight in neochromosomes and complex chained fusion made up of translocated sequences from all around the genome.
We recorded the entire workshop. Watch Vanessa’s talk above, or click through to the Bionano update and presentations by Jim Broach and Hayk Barseghyan.
